Daring Media is built around a core team of producers, directors and editors who have spent years working at the highest level of broadcast journalism and documentary filmmaking.
Darin is a BBC-trained journalist and producer with 15 years in broadcast radio and documentary. He led and produced The Climate Question for BBC World Service, driving the growth strategy that took the show from a few hundred downloads to millions of listeners. He also produced BBC Radio 4's flagship daily news podcast Newscast, and was lead producer on the British Podcast Award-nominated Thief at the British Museum, which he also produced as a BBC Two television documentary.
He founded Daring Media to bring the same editorial rigour, storytelling instinct, and production values he developed at the BBC to brands, scientists, and organisations with something meaningful to say.
Bethany supports on-location podcast production and recording sessions, assists with video editing for podcast episodes and social media content, and contributes to client outreach and business development.
She brings hands-on energy across production, post-production and content creation, and is building her career at the intersection of journalism, storytelling and digital media.
Every project starts with the story, not the kit. We spend time on the question before we pick up a camera, because the best production decisions come from understanding what you are actually trying to say.
The standard we hold ourselves to is the same one we were held to at the BBC. That means picture, sound, pacing, structure and fact-checking, not just a good-looking thumbnail.
Renewable energy powered studio, EV transport to every production, and a commitment to partnering only with brands whose values align with ours. We are an SME Climate Hub committed company and Creatives for Climate signatory.
